This book was never published. We wrote and designed it as a part of our showcase in attempt to get a book design commission. Also, we just had such strong urge to create books and games that we would design them no matter if we were paid or not (we didn’t get paid for any our web games, but we invested months of work in them, anyway).
The main character – Ebenezer – is a traveller who stumbles into an undiscovered forest. He tries to map it, but in the darkness of the night he mistakes the crayons and looses his way. He is rescued by talking trees who lead him out of the trouble.
This is our first book that we both wrote and designed, and this is our only book in which we divided roles between us. Daniel wrote the story and Aleksandra designed the book. We never worked that way again.
The Ebenezer’s story shows that we orbited around the theme of maps since the very beginning.
